Single-Sided Foam Tape

Single-sided foam tape and sponge tape manufacturer, Atlantic Gasket Corporation, produces adhesive tapes starting at 1/32” thk. up to 1” thk. With our precision slitting equipment we are capable of slitting rolls as narrow as 1/8” wide and any roll width up to and including 54” wide. For applications that require a custom cut length that is 36” or less, we utilize high speed die cutting equipment for a perfect fit every time. And, depending on the roll width and thickness, our single-sided foam tapes can be supplied on 3” dia. cores and rolls up to 200 feet in length.

Whether used for cushioning, weatherstriping or other sealing applications, single-sided foam tape can be used on an endless variety of products. Below is a general listing of popular materials that we use to manufacture single-sided foam and sponge tapes:

Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam	Offers good mechanical properties, good thermal insulation, excellent chemical resistance, and low water absorption.
Polyurethane Open Cell Foam	Is an UL94-recognized foam designed for dust seals, spacers, and cushioning applications.
PVC Foam	Is conformable, UV resistant, and strong and widely used to seal out air, moisture, light, and dust.
Closed Cell Neoprene Sponge	Offers good resistance to acid, alkali, gasoline, and oil.
Closed Cell EPDM Sponge	Offers excellent ozone resistance and performs well in applications where temperatures can range from –90 to 275°F.
Closed Cell Nitrile (Buna-N) Sponge	Offers excellent fuel resistance and UV resistance and performs well in applications where temperatures can range from –40 to +200°F.
PVC/Nitrile Closed Cell Sponge	Is a fire rated closed cell sponge, which can be used in the construction industry as insulation. This material also works well in applications that require a shock absorbing material.
Closed Cell Silicone Sponge	Offers excellent flame, ozone, and UV resistances and is ideal for applications where temperatures can range from –103 to 450°F.
Open Cell Sponge	Is excellent for cushioning applications and does not take a compression set.
