Cross-linked Polyethylene Foam has good thermal insulating properties and excellent chemical resistant properties that make it suitable for a wide range of applications. The Volara line of Cross-linked Polyethylene foam, manufactured by Voltek, has a smooth skinned surface on both sides and is supplied in continuous rolls and Plastazote Cross-linked Polyethylene foam, which is manufactured by Zotefoams PLC is supplied in sheets. Volara's Cross-linked Polyethylene Foam is available in six different grades: styles 2A and 2AFR (UL rated) are 2# density, style 4A and 4EO are 4# density and 6A and 6EO are 6# density. Zotefoams Cross-linked Polyethylene foam is available in eight grades: style LD33, LD45, LD45FR (UL rated), and LD70 are low density; style HD60 and HD80 are high density; and LD50 CN and EV45 CN are conductive.
