Natural rubber open cell sponge is available in five densities: RO11 (soft), RO12 (medium), RO13 (medium firm), RO14 (firm), and RO15 (extra firm). This material is supplied with a textured finish on both sides. Standard roll width is 36”, but can be made up to 54” wide for 1/16” up to 9/16” thick and up to 48” wide for 5/8” up to 1” thick. Die Ejection Material |

Die ejection natural rubber is available in three grades: style 3261 (28 pcf. density), style 3271 (32 pcf. density), and style 3281 (36 pcf. density). This natural rubber product is available in two densities – high or low. Our natural rubber compound is used for applications involving temperatures up to 158˚F. It can also be made from EPDM, which has a high temperature rating of 210˚F and will hold up well in applications that will be sealing dilute acids. At Atlantic Gasket Corporation, standard colors for natural rubber open cell sponge are black and tan, but it can be supplied in blue, red, orange, yellow, green, gray, and purple (however there is a large minimum for these special colors – approximately 1,000 # of material). Natural rubber open cell sponge is manufactured in both fractional (Example: 1/16”, 1/8”, etc.) and metric (Example: 1mm, 2mm, etc.) thickness. This material can be die cut to size or slit to continuous rolls and can be supplied with or without an adhesive backing.
