3M 300 High Strength Acrylic

The 300 High Strength Acrylic adhesive family from 3M provides short-term heat resistance of up to 250°F and an overall temperature range of -40° to 250°F. The 300 High Strength Acrylic family specializes in strong initial adhesion to substrates specifically plastics with a low surface energy (LSE). This adhesive has a quick flow allowing the relatively fast lamination of many substrates including coated papers, foams, fabrics, and plastics with a textured surface.

The 300 High Strength Acrylic family can be provided in rolls up to 48” and 54” wide, depending on the product, and slit down to widths of your specific needs like other 3M families: 300FR Flame Retardant, 300LSE Low Surface Energy Acrylic, 300MP High Tack Acrylic, 300SF Solventless, 320 High Tenacity Acrylic, 340 High Tack Acrylic, 350 High Performance Acrylic, and 375 High Performance Double Coated. It can also be laminated to our materials and then die cut, kiss cut, and water jet cut into parts or strips of your necessity. These products include closed cell sponge, open cell sponge, mechanical rubber (such as neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile/Buna-N), corks, cork rubbers, and many plastic materials.

The 300 High Strength Acrylic family can be found in the following products from 3M:

3M ADHESIVE TRANSFER TAPES

3M 927 (2 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 927 is a 2 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is generally used for bonding a diverse amount of industrial foams and gaskets. 3M 927 comes in rolls up to 48” wide.
3M 950 (5 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 950 is a 5 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is generally used for bonding a diverse amount of industrial foams and gaskets and is the thicker version of 3M 927. 3M 950 comes in rolls up to 48” wide and is UL listed.
3M 950EK (5 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 950EK is a 5 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is generally used for bonding a diverse amount of industrial foams and gaskets. 3M 950EK comes in rolls up to 48” wide and is the thicker version of 3M 927 but with a Kraft liner that is stretchable.
3M 9458 (1 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 9458 is a 1 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is UL listed and has a high tack despite how thin it is. 3M 9458 is usually used in processes with rotary use in high and low surface energy (LSE) parts and comes in rolls up to 54” wide.
3M 9459W (1.5 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 9459W is a 1.5 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is UL listed and the white variety of laminating adhesive. 3M 9459W comes in rolls up to 48” wide.
3M 9471 (2 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 9471 is a 2 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is UL listed and meets the Mil-P-19834B Type I spec. It is especially used for low surface energy (LSE) plastics with a smooth surface and comes in rolls up to 48” wide.
3M 9472 (5 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 9472 is a 5 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is the thicker variety of 3M 9471 and used for surfaces with texture. 3M 9472 comes in rolls up to 48” wide and is UL listed and meets the Mil-P-19834B Type I spec.
3M 9671 (2 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 9671 is a 2 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is the same as 3M 9471 but supplied on a heavier liner made for lay-flat properties and easier handling. 3M 9671 comes in rolls up to 48” wide and is UL listed while meeting the Mil-P-19834B Type I spec.
3M 9672 (5 Mil High Strength Acrylic Adhesive) The 300 High Strength Acrylic 9672 is a 5 mil high strength acrylic adhesive that is the same as 3M 9472 but supplied on a lay-flat liner that is heavy and easier for handling. 3M 9672 comes in rolls up to 48” wide and is UL listed.
