3M 400 Acrylic Adhesive

The 400 Acrylic Adhesive family from 3M provides a short-term heat resistance up to 250° and an overall temperature range of -60° to 250° for most products. The 400 Acrylic Adhesive displays peel strength, good low temperature resistance, and an exceptional bond to uncoated papers. This adhesive family also specializes in label applications on window units due to its clarity and resistance to UV.

The 400 Acrylic Adhesive family can be provided in rolls up to 1” (one product), 27”, 48” and 54” wide depending on the product and slit down to widths of your specific needs like the 3M 420 Acrylic Adhesive and 430 Acrylic Adhesive families. It can also be laminated to our materials and then die cut, kiss cut, and water jet cut into parts or strips of your necessity. These products include closed cell sponge, open cell sponge, mechanical rubber (such as neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile/Buna-N), corks, cork rubbers, and many plastic materials.

3M 463 (2 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 463 is a 2 mil acrylic adhesive that has an exceptional bond to a wide variety of paper stocks with high tack. 3M 463 comes in rolls up to 48” wide.
3M 465 (2 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 465 is a 2 mil acrylic adhesive that is the same as the 3M 463 but with an easy release liner for easier manual/hand applications. 3M 465 comes in rolls up to 48” wide.
3M 465XL (2 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 465XL is a 2 mil acrylic adhesive that is the same as the 3M 465 but with an extended liner for better dispensing and removal. 3M 465XL comes 1” wide.
3M 9457 (1 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 9457 is a 1 mil acrylic adhesive that provides long-term stability and specializes in uses outdoors due to its exceptional UV performance. 3M 9457 is UL listed, best applied at cooler temperatures, and comes in rolls up to 54” wide.
3M 9665 (2 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 9665 is a 2 mil acrylic adhesive that is the thicker variety of the 3M 9457. 3M 9665 comes in rolls up to 48” wide.

3M 9416 (1 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 9416 is a 1 mil acrylic adhesive that is a differential adhesive with a tissue carrier which combines properties from the 3M 400 Acrylic Adhesive and 1000 Series Repositionable Acrylic families. 3M 9416 comes in rolls up to 48” wide with a temperature range of -20° to 150°.
3M 928ATG (1 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 928ATG is a 1 mil acrylic adhesive is the reverse wound ATG variety of 3M 9416 on a 1” core which combines properties from the 3M 400 Acrylic Adhesive and 1000 Series Repositionable Acrylic families. 3M 928ATG is used with the ATG700 Applicator and comes in a width to ¾” with a temperature range of -20° to 150°.

3M 465XL (2.0 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 465XL is a 2.0 mil acrylic adhesive that is used in applications for miscellaneous commercial bonds and attachments that need a thicker adhesive. Some 3M 465XL uses are for the sealed flaps of overnight envelopes and business form edging that is pressure sensitive.
3M 450EK (1.0 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 450EK is a 1.0 mil acrylic adhesive which specializes in applications that need a better resistance to tear. One example use of the 3M 450EK is for attaching pharmaceutical outserts.
3M 450XL (1.0 Mil Acrylic Adhesive) The 400 Acrylic 450XL is a 1.0 mil acrylic adhesive that specializes in the attachment of miscellaneous papers, and one specific example is for attaching pharmaceutical outserts.
