Description: Style AG40RR is a 40 durometer reversion resistant silicone designed for use in gasketing applications where the material is exposed to high temperatures over long periods of time. The material is more reversion resistant than other grades of silicone and has proven to be an excellent gasketing material as well as a pad or heat shield material that is designed for repeated use. 40 durometer reversion resistant grade silicone has a service temperature of -80°F to +500°F. As a non-toxic and chemically inert material, Style AG40RR offers users excellent ozone and UV resistance. In addition to taking a low compression set, 40 durometer reversion resistant silicone is a low volatile material, which means that this silicone has extremely low outgassing characteristics.
Atlantic Gasket’s reversion resistant silicone gasketing material is available in 40 Durometer. 40 durometer reversion resistant silicone can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4" wide, up to 36" in width. Atlantic Gasket can supply Style AG40RR without adhesive or with either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. 40 durometer reversion resistant silicone can be manufactured to a wide range of standard and custom thicknesses. Atlantic Gasket has the capacity to fabricate 40 durometer reversion resistant silicone by die-cutting or waterjet cutting to meet your design and production requirements.
