Silicone Rubber
AGCOND65 is a 65 durometer black electrically conductive silicone rubber which is designed for gasket applications requiring protection against electrostatic discharge, a low compression set, and has a resistance to extreme temperatures. This carbon black-filled silicone protects against EMI/RFI (electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference) while acting as a low amperage conductor. Atlantic Gasket’s AGCOND65 endures a temperature range of -65°F (-53°C) to 450°F (232°C) or 500°F (260°C) intermittently and also has excellent resistance to oxidation, UV, ozone, and weathering. It also meets the 21 CFR 177.2600 specification and is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant.
AGCOND65 black electrically conductive silicone, offered by Atlantic Gasket, comes in a variety of thicknesses and widths. This carbon black-filled silicone protects electronic appliances and comes in widths of up to 36" – 60" and thicknesses from .010" to .500". AGCOND65 has the ability to have a pressure sensitive adhesive laminated to this silicone rubber. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to slit AGCOND65 to widths as narrow as ¼" or as wide as 36" – 60". The conductive silicone rubber can be cut to size for custom parts either using our high-speed die-cutting process or our high-precision waterjet-cutting machine for production quantities and/or prototype requirements.
