Typical Properties of Style AG-21431 Premium Grade Viton Rubber

The AG-21431 Viton product is a 75 durometer premium grade black Viton manufactured to be resistant to acids and is an outstanding gasket material. As a Viton product, AG-21431 provides resistance to a wide variety of environmental and chemical factors such as petroleum oils, fuels, ozone/weather, chlorinated solvents, animal/vegetable oils, lubricants, and aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, acids, and hot water and low-pressure steam. This material provides a service temperature of -10°F to 500°F and meets the premium grade, Viton GF, and Dupont Gasket Code S-26 specifications.

Like all fluoroelastomers, AG-21431 75 durometer black premium grade Viton also offers resistance to extreme temperatures, resistance to mold/fungus, extremely low permeability, serviceable electrical properties in low frequency, low voltage applications, and a great compression set. This material is an excellent choice for challenging and durable sealing and gasket applications and is often used in the chemical industry, automotive industry, fluid power industry, and aerospace industry.

However, AG-21431 75 durometer premium grade acid-resistant Viton is not recommended for applications involving ketones, certain amines, chlorosulphonic acids, low molecular weight esters and ethers, and alkyl phosphate esters

This 75 durometer premium grade black Viton fluoroelastomer product is available in thicknesses of 1/16", 1/8", and ¼" with a light fabric impression finish and meets Viton GF. Like our other rubber products, we can supply AG-21431 75 durometer Viton as converted waterjet-cut and die-cut custom gaskets and also cut to the width of your exact requirements for stripping. With the latest computer-controlled technology, Atlantic Gasket is able to make custom Viton rubber gaskets from as small as 1/16" dia. up to 51" dia. and any size or shape in between.
