AG-3013 Fluoroelastomer
The AG-3013 fluoroelastomer product is a 75 durometer high temperature Aflas fluoroelastomer that is an outstanding gasket material. As a fluoroelastomer product, it has a strong resistance to bases, high PH corrosion inhibitors, acids, high pressure steam and alcohols, and also sour gases and oils. However, unlike other fluoroelastomer and Viton products, AG-3013 has a fair resistance to low molecular weight esters and ethers along with a resistance to aromatic solvents and fuels. It has a temperature range of -10°F to 450°F.
Like all fluoroelastomers, AG-3013 75 durometer specification grade fluoroelastomer also offers serviceable electrical properties in low frequency, extremely low permeability, a great compression set, low voltage applications, resistance to mold/fungus, and resistance to extreme temperatures. This material is an excellent choice for challenging and durable sealing and gasket applications and is often used in the fluid power industry, automotive industry, aerospace industry, and chemical industry.
However, AG-3013 75 durometer high temperature fluoroelastomer is not recommended for applications involving freon refrigerant, tetrahydrofurane solvent, chlorinated solvents, acids, and hot water and steam. Our AG-21236 Viton product, however, provides resistance to acids, hot water, and steam. Also, we have a variety of Viton and fluoroelastomer products that do protect against chlorinated solvents: AG-21236 Viton, AG-21249 Viton, AG-21242 Viton, and AG-21339 Fluoroelastomer.
This 75 durometer high temperature fluoroelastomer product is available in thicknesses of 1/32”, 1/16”, & 1/8” with a light fabric impression finish. Like our other rubber products, we can supply AG-3013 75 durometer fluoroelastomer as converted die-cut and waterjet-cut custom gaskets and also slit down to the width of your exact requirements for stripping. With the latest computer-controlled technology, Atlantic Gasket is able to manufacture custom fluoroelastomer rubber gaskets from as small as 1/16" diameter up to 51" diameter and any shape or size in between.

The fluoroelastomer properties above were obtained on molded 0.080” thick ASTM samples, but they should not be used to set minimum requirements for Quality Control Specification.
RESTRICTIONS: Although Fluoroelastomers are an excellent gasket and sealing material and are resistant to many chemicals and oils, Fluoroelastomers are not recommended for applications that will be exposed to nitro hydrocarbons, low molecular weight esters (such as ethyl acetate), or ketones.
