Description: Style AG50EPPC is a 50 durometer peroxide cured EPDM gasketing material designed for applications that require a solid rubber material suitable for outdoor environments that require a higher temperature than our commercial grade (AG50EPCG) offers. A unique feature of 50 durometer peroxide cured EPDM is that most peroxides do not bloom, which means this material will offer better color control and stability. 50 durometer peroxide cured EPDM has a service temperature of -60°F to +300°F, which allows the material to provide exceptional heat and aging stability. Style AG50EPPC also maintains a strong compression set at these higher temperatures. Known by the chemical name ethylene propylene, Style AG50EPPC is formulated to meet the ASTM D2000 M4CA 510 A25 B35 C32 EA14 F19 standard.
Atlantic Gasket’s peroxide cured EPDM is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 40 Durometer (AG40EPPC) to as hard as 80 Durometer (AG80EPPC) with standard durometers in between. Style AG50EPPC is available in the color black and can be manufactured in a wide range of standard thicknesses, ranging from as thin a 1/64" to as thick as 1/4", with custom thicknesses available upon request. 50 durometer peroxide cured EPDM has a smooth finish and can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4 wide up to 48" in width. Additional widths can be manufactured upon request. Send in a drawing, and let Atlantic Gasket die-cut or waterjet 50 durometer peroxide cured EPDM to meet both prototype and production requirements.
