Thermoseal C-4201 is a compressed fiber material with good chemical and oil resistance. C-4201 is manufactured from synthetic fibers with a Nitrile binder system and is an excellent gasket material for sealing oils and solvents in high temperature applications seeing temperatures up to 450°F (230°C) and for sealing gases and steam at temperatures up to 375°F (190°C). This material is typically used as a gasket or seal for compressors, pipe flanges, manways, pumps and valves in applications that require oil and solvent resistance at elevated temperatures.
Thermoseal C-4201 is available in sheets 60" x 60" square in the following thickness: 1/64", 1/32", 3/64", 1/16", 3/32" and 1/8". We will gladly supply material in full sheets or allow Atlantic Gasket to die-cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact requirements. If needed, we can ship finished parts the same day.
