Thermoseal C-4401 is our most popular compressed fiber material because of its excellent chemical and sealability characteristics while being reasonably priced. C-4401 is manufactured from synthetic fibers with a Nitrile binder system and is an exceptional gasket material for sealing liquids in high temperature applications up to 750°F (399°C) and for sealing gases and steam at temperatures up to 450°F (232°C). This material is typically used as a gasket or seal for compressors, pipe flanges, manways, pumps and valves.
Thermoseal C-4401 is available in sheets 60" x 60" square, 60" wide x 120" long or 60" wide x 180" long in the following thickness: 1/64", 1/32", 3/64", 1/16", 3/32" and 1/8". If required, Atlantic Gasket will gladly die-cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact dimensions and can ship finished parts the same day if needed.
