Thermoseal C-4408 is a high performance compressed fiber gasket material with a low carbon steel woven mesh insert. C-4408 is manufactured using synthetic fibers with a Nitrile binder system and is an excellent gasket material for high stress and high temperature applications sealing fluids at temperatures up to 750°F (399°C) and for sealing gases and steam at temperatures up 450°F (232°C). This material performs well as a gasket and seal in applications that vary in both pressure and temperature.
Thermoseal C-4408 is available in sheets 60" x 60" square in the following thicknesses: 1/32", 3/64", 1/16", 3/32" and 1/8". If requested, Atlantic Gasket will gladly die-cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact dimensions and can ship finished parts the same day if needed.
