Typical Properties of Thermoseal’s C-4439 High Performance High Temperature Compressed Fiber with a Carbon Steel Insert

Thermoseal C-4439 is a high performance compressed fiber gasket material with a galvanized carbon steel insert. C-4439 is manufactured using Aramid, Fiberglass and Inorganic fibers with a Nitrile binder system and is an exceptional gasket material for sealing liquids in high stress and high temperature applications up to 775°F (412°C) and for sealing steam and gases at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). This material is typically used as a gasket or seal for compressors, pipe flanges, manways, pumps and valves.

Thermoseal C-4439 is available both 1/16" and .080" thick in sheets 60" x 60" square. If requested, Atlantic Gasket will gladly die-cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact dimensions and can ship finished parts the same day if needed.
