Thermoseal C-5400 is a compressed fiber material with good chemical and sealability characteristics. C-5400 is manufactured from synthetic fibers with a Neoprene binder system and is an exceptional gasket material for high temperature applications sealing fluids at temperatures up to 725°F (385°C) and for sealing gases and steam at temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). This material is typically used as a gasket or seal for compressors, pipe flanges, manways, pumps and valves in applications that require an anti-stick material that offers good chemically stability.
Thermoseal C-5400 is available in sheets 60" x 60" square in the following thickness: 1/64", 1/32", 3/64", 1/16", 3/32" and 1/8". If required, Atlantic Gasket will gladly die-cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact dimensions and can ship finished parts the same day if needed.
