Thermoseal C-8200 is a compressed fiber material with good chemical and oil-fuel resistance. C-8200 is manufactured from synthetic fibers with a Hypalon binder system and is an acid resistant gasket material for high temperature applications seeing temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) and for sealing gases and steam at temperatures up to 300°F (148°C). This material is typically used as a gasket or seal for compressors, pipe flanges, manways, pumps and valves in applications that require an acid resistant material.
Thermoseal C-8200 is available in sheets 60" x 78" square in the following thickness: 1/32", 1/16" and 1/8". If required, Atlantic Gasket will gladly die-cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact dimensions and can ship finished parts the same day if needed.
