EPDM Gaskets

Atlantic Gasket Corporation, a leading rubber gasket manufacturer, provides a variety of EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) grades to fabricate custom rubber EPDM gaskets of exceptional quality and reliability. At Atlantic Gasket, all EPDM grades are available as thin as .016" thick up to .250" thick. We offer EPDM grades in continuous rolls of 36", 48", or 54" wide or we can custom die-cut and waterjet cut each grade to your exact requirements. All EPDM grades come in a measure of hardness (durometer) as soft as 40 durometer and as hard as 80 durometer.

Features of Atlantic Gasket's Custom EPDM Rubber Gaskets:
  • Excellent resistance to ozone, sun, and oxygen
  • Excellent resistance to acids, alkali, and ketones
  • Excellent heat resistance and aging
  • Overall temperature range of -67°F to 302°F (-55°C to 150°C)
  • Good electrical insulation properties

Atlantic Gasket's Available EPDM Grades

EPDM Economy Grade

Commercial Grade EPDM provides good resistance to chemicals, weathering, ozone, and UV exposure making it suitable in applications for air, hot and cold water, saturated steam, and outdoor service.

  • 50 Durometer Commercial Grade EPDM
  • 60 Durometer Commercial Grade EPDM
  • 70 Durometer Commercial Grade EPDM

EPDM Peroxide Cured

Peroxide Cure Grade EPDM exhibits excellent resistance to heat, aging, and compression set from -60°F to +300°F (-51°C to +149°C) and is ideal for applications involving food, water, and steam.

  • 40 Durometer Peroxide Cured EPDM
  • 50 Durometer Peroxide Cured EPDM
  • 60 Durometer Peroxide Cured EPDM
  • 70 Durometer Peroxide Cured EPDM
  • 80 Durometer Peroxide Cured EPDM

EPDM High Grade

High Grade EPDM is comprised of 100% EPDM and offers the same resistance as the commercial grade but has higher physical properties, which make it an excellent material for applications that require a low compression set.

  • 40 Durometer High Grade EPDM
  • 50 Durometer High Grade EPDM
  • 60 Durometer High Grade EPDM
  • 70 Durometer High Grade EPDM
  • 80 Durometer High Grade EPDM

With advanced computer controlled equipment, Atlantic Gasket is able to manufacture custom EPDM rubber gaskets from as small as 1/16" dia up to 36" dia and any size or shape in between. If required, EPDM rubber gaskets can be custom manufactured at Atlantic Gasket with an acrylic adhesive backing.

 Silicone rubber gasket materials

Silicone rubber gasket material can be purchased from gasket manufacturer Atlantic Gasket Corporation as a rubber sheet, as rubber gaskets manufactured to precise specifications, or a number of other parts or sealing components. Silicone rubber gaskets come as thin as .016" or as thick as .250", and are available in many grades: Commercial Grade silicone, Specification Grade silicone, Fiberglass Reinforced silicone, High Strength silicone, Fluorosilicone, Electrically Conductive silicone, Medical Grade silicone, FDA Grade silicone, Translucent Grade silicone, Thermally Conductive Grade silicone. Styles of Cellular silicone range from open cell silicone foam to closed cell silicone sponge. These materials can also be made with different levels of hardness, from 25 to 80 durometer. Silicone rubber gaskets are resistant to UV, ozone, and fungus, as well as both very high and very low temperatures, and they resist compression set. With these properties, silicone rubber is sure to make up some of the best gaskets in the industry. When you demand the best of what silicone rubber gaskets have to offer, be sure to come to the Atlantic Gasket Corporation.
