Description: Style AG40MS is a 40 durometer medium strength silicone gasketing material designed to be used in applications where high physical properties need to be met. Consider 40 durometer medium strength silicone as an alternative to our high strength silicone (AG40HS) in demanding gasketing applications that require extra tensile strength and tear resistance. 40 durometer medium strength silicone provides users with extreme low and high temperature resistance, with an operating temperature of -80 °F to +450 °F. This material offers excellent UV and ozone resistance and takes a low compression set. Style AG40MS is a non-toxic and chemically inert material produced from FDA approved ingredients. 40 durometer medium strength silicone is a peroxide free and platinum cured material. Due to being peroxide free, the material is non-blooming.
