Description: Style AG50MS is a 50 durometer medium strength silicone gasketing material designed to be used in applications where high physical properties need to be met. 50 durometer medium strength silicone provides users with extreme low and high temperature resistance, with an operating temperature of -80°F to +500°F. This material offers excellent UV and ozone resistance and takes a low compression set. Style AG50MS is a non-toxic and chemically inert material produced from FDA approved ingredients. Consider 50 durometer medium strength silicone as an alternative to our high strength silicone (AG50HS) for demanding gasketing applications which don’t require extreme tensile strength and tear resistance.
Atlantic Gasket’s medium strength grade silicone gasketing material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 40 Durometer (AG40MS) to as hard as 60 Durometer (AG60MS). The standard colors of our medium grade silicone are red and grey. 50 durometer medium strength silicone can be produced in rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4" wide, up to 36" in width. Atlantic Gasket can supply 50 durometer medium strength silicone without adhesive or choose from either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. Style AG50MS can be manufactured to a wide range of standard and custom thicknesses. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to fabricate 50 durometer medium strength silicone by die-cutting or waterjet cutting to meet your prototype and production requirements.
