Description: Style AG50NEMG is a 50 durometer medium grade neoprene gasketing material designed for use in a wide variety of applications which require a higher percentage of neoprene than our commercial grade (AG50NECG). 50 durometer medium grade neoprene is made from Neoprene (51%) and a blend of other elastomers and has a service temperature of -30°F to +200°F. 50 durometer mid-grade neoprene offers moderate resistance to oil and gasoline. Known by the chemical name chloroprene, Style AG50NEMG also provides good weathering and ozone resistance for your gasketing applications. Style AG50NEMG is formulated to meet the ASTM D2000 M1BC 507 specification.
Atlantic Gasket’s medium grade neoprene is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 30 Durometer (AG30NEMG) to as hard as 80 Durometer (AG80NEMG) with standard durometers in between. Style AG50NEMG is available in the color black and can be manufactured in a wide range of standard thicknesses, ranging from as thin a 1/64" to as thick as 1/2", with custom thicknesses available upon request. 50 durometer medium grade neoprene has a smooth finish and can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4 wide up to 48” in width.
