Description: Style AG40CG is a 40 durometer commercial grade silicone, which is designed for use in gasketing applications that do not require demanding physical properties, but where higher temperature resistance is required. AG40CG has a service temperature of -80°F to +450°F, with the ability to handle +500°F on an intermittent basis. As a non-toxic and chemically inert material, 40 durometer commercial grade silicone offers excellent ozone and UV resistance.
Atlantic Gasket’s commercial grade silicone gasketing material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 30 Durometer (AG30CG) to as hard as 80 Durometer (AG80CG) with standard durometers in between. Style AG40CG can be supplied in either red or black in color. Select thicknesses can be produced to grey in color. AG40CG can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4" wide, to a maximum width of 36". Atlantic Gasket has the ability to supply 40 durometer commercial grade silicone without adhesive or choose an adhesive from our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. AG40CG commercial grade silicone can be manufactured in thicknesses ranging from as thin as .016" to as thick as 1". Send in a drawing, and let Atlantic Gasket die-cut or waterjet cut 40 durometer commercial grade silicone to meet your exact requirements.
