Typical Properties of Style AGFDA40 40 Durometer FDA White Silicone Rubber

AGFDA40 is a 40 Durometer FDA white silicone rubber which is designed for gasket applications requiring a low compression set and resistance to extreme temperatures. This white silicone meets ZZR-765 CL2A & CL2B GR40, A-A-59588 CL2A & CL2B GR40, AMS 3301, ASTM D2000, UL94HB, and FDA Title 21 CFR 177.2600. Atlantic Gasket’s AGFDA40 endures a temperature range of -76°F (-60°C) to 480°F (248°C) and 500°F (260°C) intermittently, uses FDA-approved ingredients, has good chemical resistance, and also has excellent resistance to oxidation, UV, ozone, and weathering.

AGFDA40 FDA white silicone rubber, offered by Atlantic Gasket, comes in a variety of durometers, thicknesses, colors, and widths. This silicone is 40 Durometer but is also available at 30 durometer (AGFDA30), 50 durometer (AGFDA50), 60 durometer (AGFDA60), and 70 durometer (AGFDA70) along with widths of 36" – 60" and thicknesses from .010" to 1". AGFDA40 has the ability to have a pressure sensitive adhesive laminated to this silicone rubber. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to slit AGFDA40 to widths as narrow as ¼" or as wide as 36" – 60". The FDA white 40 Durometer silicone rubber can be cut to size for custom parts either using our high-speed die-cutting process or our high-precision waterjet-cutting machine for production quantities and/or prototype requirements.
