AGFGSI70 is a 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber which is used for seals and gaskets where a nonporous and resilient material is necessary. It is designed for gasket applications requiring a low compression set and resistance to extreme temperatures. This fiberglass reinforced silicone meets the 21 CFR 177.2600, AMS3315, and AMS3320 specifications and is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant.

Atlantic Gasket’s AGFGSI70 endures a temperature range of -103°F (-75°C) to 500°F (260°C), uses FDA-approved ingredients, has good chemical resistance, and also has excellent resistance to oxidation, UV, ozone, and weathering. The silicone rubber has a single ply of fiberglass which helps it to deter weathering and deterioration from aircraft engine oil while also promoting dimensional stability and support.

AGFGSI70 fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber, offered by Atlantic Gasket, comes in a variety of durometers, thicknesses, colors, and widths. This 70 durometer silicone comes in widths of up to 36" and thicknesses from .010" to .250". AGFGSI70 has the ability to have a pressure sensitive adhesive laminated to this silicone rubber. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to slit AGFGSI70 to widths as narrow as ¼" or as wide as 60". The fiberglass reinforced 70 durometer silicone rubber can be cut to size for custom parts either using our high-speed die-cutting process or our high-precision waterjet-cutting machine for production quantities and/or prototype requirements.
