Description: Style AG70FS 70 durometer fluorosilicone gasketing material is designed to be utilized in gasketing applications where general purpose silicone (AG70GP) would degrade by harsh fluids or chemicals. 70 durometer fluorosilicone will perform in extreme low and high temperature, with a service temperature of -80°F to +450°F and has the capability to perform at +500°F on an intermittent basis. Consider using 70 durometer fluorosilicone gasketing material in applications where the gasket requires silicone, but where extreme conditions exist. Style AG70FS is naturally UV and ozone resistant and offers extreme resistance to fuels and solvents. 70 durometer fluorosilicone is fungus resistant and takes a low compression set. Style AG70FS 70 durometer fluorosilicone is formulated to meet Mil-R-25988 Type 2, Class 1, Grade 70 specification.
Atlantic Gasket’s fluorosilicone gasketing material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 30 Durometer (AG30FS) to as hard as 70 Durometer (AG70FS) with standard durometers in between. Style AG70FS can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4" wide, up to 36" in width. Atlantic Gasket can produce AG70FS without adhesive or choose from either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. AG70FS fluorosilicone can be manufactured to standard and custom thicknesses.
