Style AG483 fluorosilicone rubber is a peroxide-cured fluorosilicone compound that meets the specification of MIL-DTL-25988C Type 2, Class 1, Grade 80. The rubber meets the requirements for fuel-resistant and oil-resistant fluorosilicones. For the MIL-DTL-25988C specification, type 2 fluorosilicone rubbers refer to sheets, extruded shapes, strips, and molded parts (except o-rings). Class 1 refers to general-purpose fluorosilicone elastomers, and grade 80 means that the rubber has a hardness of 80 durometer.
Style AG483 fluorosilicone rubber is similar to our other products that comply with the MIL-DTL-25988C Type 2, Class 1 specification with differing grades: Grade 40 (AG378), Grade 50 (AG449), Grade 60 (AG194), and Grade 70 (AG211). Atlantic Gasket has the capability of providing AG4483 fluorosilicone to customer just looking for rubber sheets meeting the MIL-DTL-25988C Type 2, Class 1, Grade 80 specification, or we can provide it die-cut, waterjet-cut, or knife-cut to a custom size/shape. It is available in different pigment colors but is most popular in blue.
