Style AG40GP is a 40 durometer specification grade silicone, which is manufactured for use in gasketing applications that require demanding physical properties and lower compression set. AG40GP 40 durometer specification grade silicone has a service temperature of -80° F to +500° F. Style AG40GP offers excellent ozone and UV resistance. 40 durometer specification grade silicone is a non-toxic and chemically inert material and is manufactured using all FDA approved ingredients. Style AG40GP is a 40 durometer general purpose silicone which meets the physical requirements of ZZ-R-765 Class 2A Grade 40 and Class 2B Grade 40.
Atlantic Gasket’s general purpose silicone gasketing material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 30 Durometer (AG30CG) to as hard as 80 Durometer (AG80CG) with a range of durometers in between. Style AG40GP can be supplied red or black in color with select thicknesses available in grey. AG40GP and can be slit into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4" wide, to a maximum width of 36". Atlantic Gasket has the ability to supply 40 durometer specification grade silicone without adhesive or with either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. AG40GP specification grade silicone can be manufactured in thicknesses ranging from as thin as .016" to as thick as 1". Atlantic Gasket has the ability to fabricate 40 durometer specification grade silicone by die-cutting or waterjet cutting to meet your design and production requirements.
