Style AG80GP is an 80 durometer specification grade silicone, which is manufactured for use in gasketing applications that require demanding physical properties and lower compression set. AG80GP 80 durometer specification grade silicone has a service temperature of -80° F to +500° F. Style AG80GP offers excellent UV and ozone resistance. 80 durometer specification grade silicone is a non-toxic and chemically inert material and is manufactured using all FDA approved ingredients. One unique feature on the 80 durometer specification grade silicone is the material happens to be fungus resistant. Style AG80GP is an 80 durometer general purpose silicone which meets the physical requirements of ZZ-R-765 Class 2A Grade 80 and Class 2B Grade 80.
Atlantic Gasket’s specification grade silicone gasketing material is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from, as soft as 30 durometer (AG30GP), to as hard as 80 Durometer (AG80GP), with other durometers available in between. Style AG80GP can be supplied red in color and can be slit into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4" wide, to a maximum width of 36". Atlantic Gasket has the ability to provide 80 durometer specification grade silicone without adhesive or with either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. AG80GP specification grade silicone can be manufactured in thicknesses ranging from as thin as .016" to as thick as 1". Atlantic Gasket has the ability to fabricate 80 durometer general purpose silicone by die-cutting or waterjet cutting to meet your requirements from the design stage through the production phase.
