Style AG-3479-65 is an electrically-conductive shielding gasket material that is a 65 durometer (Shore A) silver aluminum-filled silicone elastomer which protects electronic equipment and produces shielding against radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). AG-3479-65 silver aluminum-filled silicone is designed to meet MIL-G-83528C/MIL-DTL-83528C Type B requirements and has a volume resistivity of .001 ohm/cm with a shielding effectiveness of greater than 114 dB.
AG-3479-65 is similar to our other electrically-conductive silver aluminum-filled products that shield against RFI and EMI such as AG-3537-30 (silicone), AG-661-45 (fluorosilicone), AG-3597-70 (fluorosilicone), and AG-661-70 Passivated (fluorosilicone). This silver aluminum-filled silicone can be converted into die-cut and water jet cut parts or provided as sheets of different sizes. The sheet sizes available for AG-3479-65 are 15” x 20”, 10” x 20”, 12” x 12”, and 10” x 10”. It can also be provided in a tan or dark blue color.

We offer the silver coated aluminum filler in both silicone and fluorosilicone, and though silicone has a wide temperature range, fluorosilicone protects against harsh environmental factors with its oil and fuel resistance.
