Style AG-613-020-Composite-NG-1 is an electrically-conductive shielding gasket material that is a 65 durometer (Shore A) nickel graphite-filled silicone elastomer which protects electronic equipment and produces shielding against radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). AG-613-020-Composite-NG-1 nickel graphite-filled silicone is reinforced with a conductive inner layer of fabric for additional support and strength while helping the product provide a volume resistivity of 0.007 ohm/cm.
AG-613-020-Composite-NG-1 is similar to our other conductive fabric-reinforced nickel graphite-filled silicone, AG613-65-032-Composite-NG-1. This reinforced, conductive silicone can be converted into die-cut and water jet cut parts or provided in continuous rolls. The rolls of AG-613-020-Composite-NG-1 are provided in a dark gray color.

The chart below compares the electrically-conductive fabric-reinforced nickel graphite-filled silicone to other filler materials that act as electromagnetic interference (EMI)/radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding. We offer the silver coated glass filler in silicone which has a wide temperature range and acts as an environmental sealant. When compared to other fillers such as silver coated aluminum, silver coated copper, and silver coated glass, nickel coated graphite has a conductivity that is comparable to its silver counterparts.
|Silver||Extremely Conductive||.0009 ohms/cm||Most Expensive|
|Silver Coated Aluminum||Super Conductive||.003 ohms/cm||More Expensive|
|Silver Coated Copper||Super Conductive||.001 ohms/cm||Expensive|
|Silver Coated Glass||Very Conductive||.006 ohms/cm||Less Expensive|
|*Nickel Coated Graphite||Conductive||.01 ohms/cm||Least Expensive*|
