Example Gasket Application | Properties |
---|---|
Automotive Gaskets | Due to its resistance to ozone, chemicals and oils, this gasket and seal material is a good gasket material for under-the-hood automotive applications. |
Weatherproofing Gaskets | With a good resistance to weather, ozone, sunlight, and oxidation, closed cell ECH sponge rubber is ideal in extreme outdoor applications. |
At Atlantic Gasket Corporation, ECH is available in four densities: AG5162 (15 pcf); AG-5163 (15 pcf); AG-5164 (18 pcf); and AG5166 (23 pcf). AG-5162 and AG-5163 are available in sheets 38" wide x 48" long, AG-5164 is available in sheets 36" wide x 46" long, while AG-5166 is available in sheets 36" wide x 44" long. ECH can also be supplied in rolls 36", 38", 44", 46" and 48" wide depending on density. This gasket and sealing material is available in thicknesses ranging from 1/16" up to 1", can be supplied with an adhesive backing on one or both sides, and can be custom die cut or waterjet cut to any size or shape. Contact Atlantic Gasket and our gasket engineering department will help you determine if ECH is the right material for your application or if another gasket material might be better suited to your needs.
