BISCO^® BF-1000 Alternative

Atlantic Gasket’s style AG-311 is an extra soft density open cell silicone foam that has been designed to be an alternative to Rogers’ BISCO BF-1000. This BF-1000 alternative is readily available with comparable specifications and UL listing. AG-311 open cell silicone foam is available in a range of thicknesses, 1/16" to ½", has a smooth surface texture, and comes in either a White, Grey, or Black color. It is a lightweight material that retains its structure after compression.

Our AG-311 extra soft density open cell silicone foam is comparative to BISCO BF-1000 in regard to compression deflection and compression set. They have the same temperature range of -55°C to 200°C (-67°F to 392°F) with AG-311 foam being FDA-compliant and meeting the UL94 V-0 specification, like BISCO BF-1000.

Atlantic Gasket’s AG-311 open cell extra soft density silicone foam is readily available and acts as an excellent, economical gasket material. We have the ability to laminate the silicone foam with an adhesive backing, slit it to our customer’s required width, and custom-cut gaskets to size via die-cutting, waterjet-cutting, or flashcutting (knife-cutting). The silicone foam is available in a width of 18" at each thickness in various lengths.
