Typical Properties of Style AG-5166 Closed Cell ECH (Epichlorohydrin) Sponge
Description: Style AG-5166 closed cell Epichlorohydrin (ECH) sponge is an excellent gasket material for applications that require exceptional resistance to chemicals and oil. ECH can be used in demanding gasketing applications that require a sealing material that can perform in temperatures as low as -20°F to as high as +300°F. This material is classified as 2B5 under ASTM D 1056-07 and has a “pass” flammability rating under FMVSS-302.
Style AG-5166 closed cell Epichlorohydrin (ECH) is a firm density material and can also be supplied in a soft density (AG-5162), in a soft-medium density (AG-5163) and in a medium density (AG-5164). All of our closed cell Epicholorhydrin (ECH) sponge materials can be die cut or waterjet cut to your exact dimensional requirements or slit to width as wide as 48” and as narrow as ¼". These materials can also be supplied with an adhesive backing on one or both sides.
