Typical Properties of Style AG1300-SM Soft/Medium Density Open Cell Silicone Foam
Description: Style AG1300-SM is a soft/medium density open cell silicone foam designed for use in gasketing applications that require a lightweight and easy to compress material. Soft/medium density open sell silicone foam is a non-toxic, non-flammable material, and due to being lightweight, has virtually no outgassing. Soft/medium density open cell silicone foam provides excellent UV and ozone resistance and takes a low compression set. Style AG1300-SM offers resistance to extreme low and high temperature and has a service temperature of -67°F to +392°F, with the ability to withstand +482°F on an intermittent basis. Soft/medium density open cell silicone foam is UL 94 V-0 listed.
Atlantic Gasket’s open cell silicone foam gasketing material is available in soft density (AG1300-S) and in a soft/medium density (AG1300-SM). Soft/medium density open cell silicone foam can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4" wide, up to 36" in width. Available in red or black, the material has a smooth skin on both sides and can be manufactured in a wide range of standard and custom thicknesses. Atlantic Gasket has the capability to supply Style AG1300-SM without adhesive or with either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high temperature acrylic adhesive. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to die-cut or waterjet cut soft/medium density open cell silicone foam to meet your requirements from the design stage to the production stage.
