Description: Style AG1346-F is a firm density closed cell silicone sponge material designed for use in gasketing applications that require a firm compressible material. Firm density closed cell silicone sponge offers resistance to low and high temperatures and provides users with a service temperature of -103°F to +450°F. Style AG1346-F is UV and ozone resistant and takes a low compression set. Firm density closed cell silicone sponge is formulated to meet the following requirements: ASTM D1056, MIL-R-6130, MIL-STD 670, AMS3196, and MIL-R-46089.
Atlantic Gasket’s closed cell silicone sponge gasketing material is available in a wide range of densities from soft (AG1346-S) to extra-firm (AG1346-XF) with varying densities and formulations available in between. Firm density closed cell silicone sponge can be converted into rolls ranging from 1/4" wide up to 36" in width. Available in a variety of colors, the surface of Style AG1346-F has a fine fabric finish on both sides and can be manufactured in thicknesses ranging from as thin as 1/32", to as thick as 2". Atlantic Gasket has the capability to supply firm density closed cell silicone sponge without adhesive or with either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. Atlantic Gasket can fabricate firm density closed cell silicone sponge by die-cutting or waterjet cutting to meet your requirements and can provide support from the design stage through the production phase.
