Description: Style AG1346-M is a medium density closed cell silicone sponge material designed to be utilized in gasketing applications that require a soft compressible material. Style AG1346-M is UV and ozone resistant and takes a low compression set. Medium density closed cell silicone sponge offers resistance to low and high temperatures and provides users with a service temperature of -103°F to +450°F. Medium density closed cell silicone sponge is formulated to meet the physical requirements of AMS3195, MIL-R-46089, ASTM D1056, MIL-R-6130, and MIL-STD 670 TE12.
Atlantic Gasket’s closed cell silicone sponge gasketing material is available in a wide range of densities from soft (AG1346-S) to extra-firm (AG1346-XF) with varying densities and formulations available in between. Medium density closed cell silicone sponge can be converted into rolls ranging from 1/4" wide up to 36" in width. Available in many colors, the surface of Style AG1346-M has a fine fabric finish on both sides and can be manufactured in rolls or sheet with a thicknesses range from as thin as 1/32", to as thick as 2". Atlantic Gasket has the ability to supply medium density closed cell silicone sponge without adhesive or choose from either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. Send in a drawing, and let Atlantic Gasket die-cut or waterjet cut medium density closed cell silicone sponge to meet your prototype and production requirements.
