Style AG2139 is a Viton closed cell sponge with a skin on both sides. This material is designed for extreme applications that require a compressible material. Closed cell Viton sponge offers the same oil, chemical, acid, ozone, sunlight and heat aging resistance as our solid Viton elastomers and is an excellent gasket material. Our AG2139 closed cell viton sponge has a service temperature range of -10°F to 400°F, is black in color, has the ability to have a laminated adhesive on one side, and meets the Viton A specification.
AG2139 Viton sponge is available in a 28" or 30" width at various thicknesses, such as 1/8" (.125"), ¼" (.250"), 3/8" (.375"), and ½" (.500"). Atlantic Gasket can slit it to width as needed along with custom-cutting it to any part size via our waterjet, flashcutter/knifecutter, or the die-cut process.
