Typical Properties of LD45FR Plastazote®

LD45FR PLASTAZOTE® is a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) foam made with nitrogen expansion. This gives the closed cell foam consistent cell size, low odor and superior physical characteristics. LD45FR will usually have stronger tear and abrasion resistance than competing XLPE’s. LD45FR has fire retardants that allow it to meet FMVSS-302, FAR25.853, UL94 HF1, and DIN 4102 PT14-B1, allowing it to be used in many automotive, transportation, HVAC and appliance applications.

All PLASTAZOTE® products can be supplied with or without adhesive backing in sheets or slit rolls as narrow as ¼". We can also die cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact specifications.
