Description: Style RE42EPT closed cell EPDM sponge can be utilized in many indoor and outdoor gasketing applications that require a temperature range of -70°F to 220°F and has a high intermittent temperature of 250°F. Closed cell EPDM sponge offers excellent resistance to acid, alkali, ozone, and oxidation. RE42EPT closed cell EPDM passes the flammability specification of FMVSS-302 at .188" or thicker. RE42EPT EPDM meets the physical property requirements of ASTM D 1056-07 2A1/2A2.
Style RE42EPT closed cell EPDM is a medium density material, which is also available in a soft density (RE41EPT). Style RE42EPT can be supplied in rolls ranging from, as narrow at 1/4" wide, up to 48" wide. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to supply RE42EPT with or without pressure sensitive adhesive. Style RE42EPT EPDM closed cell sponge can be die-cut or waterjet cut to your specific requirements.
