Description: Style AGSCE45M Neoprene / EPDM blend closed cell sponge combines the best qualities of Neoprene and EPDM rubber elastomers which creates an excellent gasket material that can be used in indoor as well as outdoor gasketing applications that could see temperatures as low as -40 °F and as high as + 250 °F. Closed cell Neoprene / EPDM sponge is designed for applications that require resistance to oil, ozone, sunlight, and oxidation. Style AGSCE45M is both FMVSS-302 and UL-94- HF-1 listed. It is also UL508, UL157 and UL50E listed and is classified as “2C5” under ASTM D 1056-91 and -07.
Style AGSCE45M Neoprene / EPDM is an extra firm density closed cell sponge gasket material and is also available in a soft density (AGSCE41M), medium soft density (AGSCE42M), medium density (AGSCE43M) and a firm density (AGSCE44M). All of our Neoprene / EPDM closed cell sponge materials can be slit to rolls from ¼” up to 54” wide, or die cut or waterjet cut to your required dimensions. To assist in making your assembly process easier, all five grades of our closed cell Neoprene / EPDM sponge can be supplied with either a Rubber based or Acrylic adhesive backing
