Description: Style SCE43B closed cell sponge Neoprene/EPDM/SBR blend combines the best qualities of all three rubber elastomers which creates an excellent gasket material that can be used in many indoor and outdoor gasketing applications that require a temperature range of -40°F to + 200°F. Neoprene/EPDM/SBR closed cell sponge is resistant to ozone, sunlight, and oxidation. Style SCE43B is UL-94-HF-1 listed and passes the flammability specifications of FMVSS-302. It is also UL48, UL 50, UL50E, UL 508 and UL 157 listed and is classified as “2A3” under ASTM D 1056-07.
Style SCE43B closed cell Neoprene/EPDM/SBR sponge is a medium density material and is also available in a soft density (SCE41B), medium soft density (SCE42B) and an extra firm density (SCE45B). All of our closed cell Neoprene/EPDM/SBR sponge grades can be supplied with or without an adhesive backing in full rolls up to 54" wide, slit to rolls as narrow as ¼" or we can die cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact requirements.
