Typical Properties of AGIS-1500 Micro Cellular Urethane Foam

Description: AGIS-1500 is a 15 pcf density cellular polyurethane foam. This microcellular foam, and its family, have been specially developed to solve difficult mechanical energy control problems. AGIS-1500 has a very fine cell structure, a low compression set, and excellent recovery properties. These properties give AGIS-1500 open cell foam superior shock absorption and vibration isolation performance. AGIS-1500 has a temperature range of -40° F to +225° F, low outgassing, and meets the FMVSS-302 Flammability rating, allowing it to be used in automotive applications.

AGIS-1500’s excellent compression set characteristics and dimensional stability allow it to be used in many applications such as automotive, electronics, industrial goods, medical and safety equipment. Microcellular urethane is often added to protect electronic devices from shock, such as a dropped cell phone. It makes an excellent gasket for many applications and is listed with UL for the gasketing and sealing requirements of UL 50, UL 508, and UL 514B.

AGIS-1500’s has a compression deflection @ 25% of 7 psi, making it a soft to medium range compression foam. It is also offered in the denser 20 pcf AGIS-2000 and 25 pcf density AGIS-2500. All cellular urethane products can be supplied with or without adhesive backing in full rolls up to 54" wide, or slit rolls as narrow as ¼". We can also die cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact specifications.
