Description: Natural Rubber Open Cell Sponge, or isoprene, has properties that make it useful in many applications. Natural Rubber RO11’s open cell structure gives it excellent recovery properties, or compression set resistance, making it a great choice for die ejection applications, cushioning, and vibration absorption. Natural Rubber RO11 is also used as an expansion joint material and has very good non-skid properties making it a common choice for mousepads, office supplies, and marketing displays.

Natural Rubber Open Cell Sponge RO11 is rated as 1A1 in ASTM D1056’s system and has a compression rating of 2-5 psi at 25% compression, giving it a “Soft” rating. Natural Rubber Open Cell Sponge is available in 4 other densities: RO12 (Medium), RO13 (Medium Firm), RO14 (Firm), and RO15 (Extra Firm). All five grades of Natural Rubber Open Cell Sponge products can be supplied with or without adhesive backing in full rolls up to 36" wide, or slit rolls as narrow as ¼". Atlantic Gasket can die cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact specifications.
