Typical Properties of Style MLC-2 Ensolite Closed Cell Sponge

Description: ENSOLITE MLC-2 closed cell sponge is a blend of PVC/Nitrile polymers. It is a slightly less dense and softer version of ENSOLITE MLC that has uses in personal floatation devices. MLC-2 meets the UL 1191 Floatation spec at various thicknesses and has a service temperature of -30° F to +200° F. MLC-2 is rated as 2C0/C1 under ASTM D1056-07 and meets the Federal FMVSS-302 rating. Regular MLC might be a better choice for most gasketing, industrial, appliance or automotive applications.

ENSOLITE MLC-2 closed cell PVC/Nitrile sponge is a soft density material. It can be used as a strip or gasket. All ENSOLITE products can be supplied with or without adhesive backing in full rolls up to 56" wide, or slit rolls as narrow as ¼". We can die cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact specifications.
