Typical Properties of Style SCC Ensolite Closed Cell Sponge
Description: ENSOLITE SCC closed cell sponge is a blend of PVC/Nitrile polymers. ENSOLITE SCC has uses in sealing and gasketing applications that require a medium to firm compression deflection. This closed cell foam has a lower than normal compression set and good shock absorbing properties. ENSOLITE SCC has a service temperature of -40°F to +200°F. SCC is rated as 2C3/2C4 under ASTM D1056-07 and meets the Federal FMVSS-302 rating.
ENSOLITE SCC closed cell PVC/Nitrile sponge is a firm density material. While it can be used in gasketing applications, its strength lies in shock absorbency and is preferred for those applications. All ENSOLITE products can be supplied with or without adhesive backing in full rolls up to 60" wide, or slit rolls as narrow as ¼". We can die cut or waterjet cut parts to your exact specifications.
