AG216 is a 5 mil unsupported acrylic adhesive supplied on an 80# Kraft liner. This adhesive has a high initial tack and adheres well to many rubber, plastic and foam substrates.
The 5 mil mass of adhesive is very useful for conforming to irregular surfaces (such as textured plastics), materials that have aggressive plasticizers (e.g. PVC foam), or when a high bond strength is required. AG216 bonds well to closed cell sponge rubber, open cell urethane foam and polar materials. It also bonds effectively with low surface energy materials and open cell sponge rubber.
