Product: Style AG316 Double Coated Nonwoven Tape
AG316 is a double coated, high tack acrylic adhesive on both sides of a 3 mil thick nonwoven tape. The nonwoven carrier provides dimensional stability and allows it to conform to irregular surfaces, such as textured plastics. This tape laminates well to many foam, rubber, and plastic materials. AG316 balances high peel, good initial tack and shear strength. The acrylic formulation provides good long term resiliency and better temperature resistance than rubber based adhesives.
AG316 is a good choice for applications that require a firm, weather resistant bond such as gasketing in the automotive, transportation, HVAC, or electronics industry. It works well for kiss-cutting parts on rolls or clean thru cut parts.
