AG318 is a high tack acrylic adhesive coated on both sides of a conformal non-woven tape. It bonds well to many foam, rubber and plastic substrates. AG318 balances high peel, good initial tack and shear strength. The acrylic formulation provides good long term resiliency and better temperature resistance than rubber based adhesives.
AG318 is a good choice when a firm bond to open or closed cell sponge rubbers, open cell urethane foam, or polar materials is required. The non-woven material provides stability but also can conform to uneven substrates, such as textured plastics.
